What you can expect in class
Within each class you’ll be guided through a purposeful sequence of yoga postures to engage your whole body and mind.
Classes are offered at two levels: beginners or intermediate.
More info about class levels below.
The beginners class introduces you to several of the foundational Hatha yoga postures and teaches you how to breathe in yoga. The pace is slow and the sequencing uncomplicated. This is a class for complete beginners and experienced beginners, or if you’re returning after time out or feel more comfortable in a slow paced class.
The intermediate class is also Hatha, taught as a dynamic ‘flow’, which attracts active people who like to be strong in their practice, with an ability (or a desire) to move with presence and breath. The sequencing requires energy and knowledge of several of the key postures in most categories. It’s not an advanced class but you will be offered challenge if ready / willing. Ujjayi breathing is encouraged.
In every class we end with Savasana (relaxation).
